Volume #135 of Marvel Masterworks falls into the "Atlas Era" (comics published prior to Marvel becoming Marvel).  It collects the early stories from the Tales to Astonish title, including the 1st appearance of Ant Man from issue #27.  The Marvel Masterworks series, which began in 1987, celebrates the early issues of the classic Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Don Heck, and Larry Lieber stories in a beautiful, collected edition.  This book is from a special, limited edition printing of only 1,098 copies.  These special editions are specifically noted on the rear dust jacket, and have a more brilliant, shiny, gold-embossed frame on the front cover than do the first printings.  This book is in LIKE NEW condition, still sealed in its wrap from the printer.
