Iron Man #1 is the first issue of Iron Man's first solo series.  The story is a continuation from the story which began in Iron Man & Sub-Mariner #1, written by Archie Goodwin and drawn by Gene Colan.  The dark purple cover is tough to find in high grade, as spine tics and other damage show up easily.  A verified sale by GPA occurred on January 16, 2022 at $15,600 for a CGC 9.4 copy of Iron Man #1!  This particular book is graded 9.4 NM with white pages by CGC.  Alignment is nearly perfect, and the color and gloss look very nice on this one.  A bargain by comparison!  Get your copy before it hits $20K!
